Salutations to All= My name is Gerard, nick name Gerry. I was born in Madawaska, Maine. My mother was a very good mother, my father was a hard working and a funny man. Delia and Henry were their names. We are a family of twelve children. Nine girls and three boys. My ambition was to play music, mostly guitar. Write songs. It has always been a challenge recording music in northern Maine. I was hired in a papermill. I was union president for many years helping my coworkers. I worked there for close to 30 years. Now retired I have time to concentrate on music. I'm a jack of all trades. Name it I do it. I have 4 wonderful children. I wish I could see them more often. As they say, they have their own lives to live. I have an understanding wife. Her name is Cathie. We've been together 22 years. My goal is to record more of my written songs.
