Millennial Child / Waiting For You is our third CD and comes with two title cuts. Millennial Child was prompted by an article describing children who are coming of age in the new millennium. At the time Katie read this, both her son, Ian Cunningham, (percussionist on this album), and Holly Brook were facing difficult choices regarding their paths in life . . . whether to follow advice of others versus listening to their own inner voice. Thus, the song was born. Several of the young musicians represented on this album qualify as âMillennial Childrenâ. The second title cut, Waiting For You is a song Holly composed early in 2002 and reflects her musical growth which is apparent in style and substance throughout this CD. Our album represents an eclectic mixture of music, from folk to pop, rock and jazz, and we hope that you will enjoy it all!
