I am very blessed to have such a talented vocalist (Wayne Powell) sing the songs on this album. At the age of nine years old Wayne Powell started singing gospel. He began singing in churches in the East Baton Rouge area and surrounding parishes. He loved reaching out to people through songs of praise. Wayne was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Rev. Dorothy C. Powell and the late Deacon Ernest Powell. His singing background came from his mother and father, which were inspirational in his love for spreading the good news through songs.

Wayne has had an opportunity to sing with such groups as the William's Brothers, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Willie Neal Johnson and The Gospel Keynotes, Slim and The Supreme Angels, The Blind Boys and other gospel artists.
