Reginale Thomas, a.k.a. BLAQHEART, has turned what was once just a hobby to him into a professional quest. As a teen, BLAQHEART would enter local talent competitions just to entertain his friends and family. It was not until he joined the Army that he decided to pursue hip hop as a career. His travels with the Army have not only allowed him to travel to various places within the world, but it has also provided him with opportunities to perform in Japan and several places throughout the southeastern United States. While pursuing a professional career in hip hop, BLAQHEART has had the opportunity to open up for the Grammy Award winning duo OUTKAST and Mr. Mike. He has also performed with other aspiring artists such as SHADEAUX, The Usual Suspects, 334 Mobb, Da Hit Squad, and many others. In January, 2005, BLAQHEART began to distribute his solo debut CD, "Cardiac Arrest", through CD Baby. In 2004, he had a single, "Down Here", featured on the Check Plus Productionz CD sampler titled "That's Whassup". BLAQHEART, who has been heavily influenced by artists such as, TUPAC, SCARFACE, Public Enemy, and N.W.A, is definitely ready to make his mark on the industry with his lyrical versatility and his pursuit of perfection.
