Joe Grieco is a singer /songwriter who has been performing live both solo and with bands for over 35 Years. Best known for being a founding member and musical director of the Southeastern Connecticut based band The Cartells, Joeâs sultry voice and keyboarding style have made him a regional favorite amongst fans and musicians alike. Joeâs lyrical expertise can be heard on The Cartells 2001 debut album, Strong True Love, and his first solo album, More Than Meets the Eye,was released Christmas of 2006.
In addition to performing live, Joe has written commercial musical scores for Pilot Pen, United Technologies, and Northeast Utilities amongst others. Joeâs voice and lyrical talent has been showcased on commercials for Subway, Casual Male and the frequently aired Army National Guard radio spot. In addition to his own projects, Joe has recorded with the likes of Phoebe Snow, country songwriter and former NRBQ member Al Anderson, and Rex Fowler of Aztec Two Step. Along with playing with The Cartells, his own group The Joe Grieco Band plays regularly at Foxwoods Resort Casino Casino.
