The GraceTones came together as a group in 2001 out of the male chorus from Grace Baptist Church of Oakland, California where Rev. Charles L. Hopkins serves as the Pastor. These powerful men of God along with serving as Deacons wanted to spread the mesage through song about the love of their Savior, Jesus Christ. After diligently rehearsing, their singing debut was held at their church anniversary program. With the help of the Lord they have progressed further and further into the music industry. Well known and sings all over the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area and Southern California. On the same ticket with Slim and the Supreme Angels, James Bolton (from the Bolton Brothers),Flint Cavaliers, The Spiritual Keyes, Gospel Voices, Sensational Gospel Specials, Oakland Silver Tones, The Oakland Airs, The Omega Airs and The True Believers. Their creative style, love for the Lord and dedication has blessed them to sing all over California. The GraceTones have been in the studio for the last year working hard to produce a CD of original songs and some make-overs of old/traditional songs. They have finally reached their goal and their CD was released in January 2007. This album is dedicated to the memory of Vincent Ricento, our voice coach.
