An exercise in escapism. I was sitting at home one afternoon listening to Neil young thinking Iâd like to live at the beach and never have to work or pay taxes again (donât we all). Then I started thinking if I just took off would anyone notice and what would happen to my mail. Maybe Iâm not such a good hippy after all

Written in Nashville in June 06. I had the chords and some of the melody for this one for a while. Thom McHugh helped me nail it down. Iâm no genius like Einsteinâsâ son but I know a good thing when I find oneâ¦. and thereâs nothing like you

I started writing this in an airport in Cincinnati, and then finished it in a hotel room in austiontown Ohio. I guess the theme of this is that love isnât like being in a band. A band as a metaphor for love
