Jacki Cooper and Friends is the debut CD from Australian jazz singer Jacki Cooper. Jacki was born in England but has spent most of her life in Australia (via New Zealand). She studied for a Bachelor of Music degree in jazz voice at the University of Adelaide Conservatorium and then went to the USA to teach and study at the Stanford Jazz Workshop at Stanford University, California. A stint as featured vocalist on Oceania's flagship Regatta through Europe in 2003 fulfilled Jacki's desires to combined her 2 loves - travel and singing - something she repeated in 2005 in Vietnam where she was invited to perform at Sax n Art Jazz Club in Saigon. Jacki has recently moved back to Sydney, NSW, after 17 years in Adelaide, South Australia, and is quickly making a name for herself on the local jazz scene. Her follow-up CD "Love For Sale" is also available on CD Baby.
