Jack Sidway was born in 1977 in the good old town of Neptune. He was raised in a middle class family from Sea Girt, NJ. His family was a rather eccentric clan that showed much appreciation in the arts, particularly music. His mother is an accomplished painter, Aunt, a concert pianist, and Uncle, a musical composer and director of an orchestra.

From an early age, Sidway appreciated music and always took interest in the piano as well as percussion. He formed numerous bands while in high school and college. In late 2005, after acheiving sucess as a songwriter and getting encouragment from production people in the music business, Sidway decided to become a singer/ songwriter. He formed the Jack Sidway Project and cut his first EP in June of 2006. Sidway has dedicated his life to becoming a better songwriter and musician. He co-writes a lot of his material with friend and bandmate, Kevin Dooley.

For the time being, Sidway lives in New Jersey and plays shows along the northeast coastline.
