I am very fortunate to own two boats and live in Sunny south Florida. All the systems on my 42 sailboat Ive designed and built myself, and I saved a fortune, including a 40-gallon per hour watermaker. Last year I purchased a 36 power cruiser as my wife and I not only want to sail but we also want to explore the ICW (Intracoastal Waterway). We wanted all the comforts of home like we have on our sailboat so I decided to build another watermaker for the cruiser. This way we dont have to frequent a marina for water. As I have limited space in the engine room and only carry 47 gallons of water I wanted a smaller, more compact, and modular watermaker.
