Details:
Casey LeBleu formed his Electronic intentions as "japaneseCARCRASH" in 2001 and did a series of gigs in TX while writing material. Mainly influenced by: Kraftwerk / Depeche Mode / G.G. Allin / Skinny Puppy / Information Society / Danny Elfman / Ministry / The Cure / HATE DEPT. / Wendy Carlos / Clara Rockmore
During 2002 Casey records "Silent Tears" and "Kiss Kiss-Aggro" for an Invisible Records compilation "Notes From Thee Real Underground vol. 5". By the Summer of 2003 "attack DECAY sustain RELEASE" debuts online. A video to "Scandal" aires in Australia on the TV program "Stained Glass Fish Bowl" around this time. Sadly a tour never developed.
japaneseCARCRASH did a few regional television appearances and played odd performances rotating Cole Livingston, Mychelle Martin and Jeff Guy in the live line-up to stay financially stable. While the trio recorded some new demos in early 2005 Casey began to seek out a producer to help get the tightest recording for an EP release. By the Spring Meg Lee Chin had committed to produce an EP. The Alternative Music Radio Show in Brazil began playing japaneseCARCRASH tracks on a regular basis. By the Fall Meg declined the project due to scheduling but sent japaneseCARCRASH Steven Seibold of HATE DEPT to straighten them out.
In the Spring of 2006 Seibold spent a week in Texas with Casey (now working solo) in his home studio recording the first 5 tracks for "BAD machine". Casey recorded three more instrumental versions for "BAD machine" and sent them to Seibold that Summer. Seibold returned to Texas to produce the vocals for those three. In between recording and mixing the final tracks Casey LeBleu and Seibold covered "The Damned" by The Plasmatics. HATE DEPT, Americlone and Information Society's Paul Robb all contributed remixes for "BAD machine".
So now in 2007 this wonderful piece of Electronic history is yours for the taking. Enjoy.
