Jim Barber started his ministry in 1991 while in Russia with "Youth With A Mission." He was ministering with a group of 60 who divided into several teams at VA hospitals, public schools, and street witnessing. "I remember when we were in a little town in Russia and as we were passing out literature my bag became empty several times. Amazingly, each time I reached into the bag another Bible or track was there! This was definitely the grace of God in action!"
After that brother Jim served in Guatemala working with orphans and doing sidewalk Sunday school in rural areas.
As a credentialed Assembly of God Minister Jim has worked with student ministries for about six years developing discipleship programs for youth to be involved with. As well as planning student outreaches, a student building project, worship, and drama teams.

Since then, Jim has assisted several churches with evangelism outreach.
With his family; wife Michelle and sons Grant, Josh, and Zane they live in Midland, MI where they call "Christian Celebration Center" their church home. Jim assists the worship team And the local Prison ministry..

With full support from "Senior Pastor, Joel Stocker" Jim is following God's call by forming Grace Abounds Ministries (GAM) which started in August 2004 to help support churches and faith base organizations who want to reach their communities for Christ!

The CD project âGive Me The Graceâ is one of the Ways Grace Abounds Ministries supports itself to move forward in ministry.
