Mylodic Isle, is a compilation of traditional Irish tunes and songs which Jennifer, & the boys of County O'Cean have gathered from their experiences, travels and friends. While they have tried to maintain and adhere to the traditional aspects of Irish music, they still have their own strong, unique style, which shines through in their tune and song selections.

Mylodic Isle features over half dozen traditional Irish songs, including the haunting song âShe Moved through the Fairâ as well as what Jennifer calls âGypsy-Oâ which is taken from the traditional song âWraggle-Taggle Gypsy-Oâ again, revamped to fit her earthy and bohemian style. âStar of the County Downâ takes a new spin under the guitar wizardry of John Wilsonâs fingerstyle, 12 string guitar work, as well as âLoch Lommondâ, which glimmers with a beautiful new edge, while still maintaining itâs true traditional essence.

Jennifer and the Boys of County OâCean (aka -Phil & John) are thrilled to have guest musicians performing with them on Mylodic Isle â which they felt helped bring the Irish Pub feel - where the only thing missing - when you're listening... is a Guinness on tap!

Instrumental sets include âBattle of AugrumâSligo Maidâ, âKing of the Fairiesâ, âBlarney Pilgrim-Joy of my Lifeâ, âMorrisonâs Jigâ and many more. They have also included a lovely Uilleann pipe tune - âMarch of the King of Laiosâ which has become a favorite of many.
