recorded by the young joey welz at afn berlin between 1960 and 1963,joey wrote the lyrics and was only 20 when he began this project.in 2002,he returned to afn berlin and did a concert of his early songs.these tapes were never released until now and were briliantly remastered by danny burden,a real true fan of joey's for over 5 decades....joey is best know for begning his touring career with bill haley and the comets as their featured pianist in 1962,starting by doing shows at the army bases with the comets throughout germany.he ended up at the star club in 1962 when the beatles were the opening act for the comets and he told john lennon to drop the word silver and keep the beat in the name beatles.he jammed with them on the hamburg tapes album.the rest is history....on canadian american records,where our future is built upon our past....
