JDV is a new fresh sound for Christian music today! More than a cd or an album, JDV is a project. This "project" is to bind the separation that Christians alike have amongs themselves. Also to bring a fresh sound to the ears that are not yet part of the Kingdom of Christ!

Alex Soler founder and producer of the project started off in October, 2005 by just wanting to make a fundraiser for a company he wanted to start. His vision was just to have a few people from his church to particapate in this "fundraiser" and to maybe sell a couple hundred. God had different plans!

Soon enough Alex realized that the only people that were helping him in the project were his close freinds in the same youth group (Eri, Tony, Kevin, and Christie). He decided to make it an album for the youth but still keeping it on a "fundraiser" level. God had different plans!

Alex came up with the name JDV while recording the song "Joven de Valor" written by Eri. He liked the catchy and the youthful sound it had. It was perfect for a youth album.

As time passed and the project was evolving, God worked in the lives of each member and confirmed the seriousness of the project. After a few months, JDV now saw what God's plans were for the group.

At this point Alex had to view the project diferently. He had to take it more seriously.

By the end of the projects completion, JDV saw the hand of God within the project. This Keeps them striving and motivating them to continue to complete their mission: "Individual artist united as one to minister to the lives of the youth so that they may truly seek Gods purpose".
