This music was inspired by my girlfriend Elizabeth ("Mediterranean Eyes"). It is a combination of folk, folk-rock and contemporary folk, rock and pop/easy listening.

"Mediterranean Eyes" is the second CD produced by Jack Schauer. His first CD, "My Sisyphus" was produced back in 2002. Mediterranean Eyes includes the genres of folk, rock and pop/easy listening.

Jack Schauer has performed in many small and larger venues throughout the upper midwestern area of North Dakota and Minnesota primarily. This past summer Jack Schauer signed with Paramount Inc. songwriting company out of Nashville, TN. The first four songs were immediately accepted by Paramount and demos were made of all four of them. The song "Mediterranean Eyes," the first song on the CD was just chosen to be on Paramount's limited edition "Up And Coming Stars" CD. This limited edition contains the tracks of what Paramount considers to be the best songs they have handled in 2006.
