The CD is Jon Baumanâs fifth disk and contains Symphonies No. 4, 5, and 6. These symphonies are the âItalian Symphoniesâ because they were written while Bauman was teaching at a conservatory of music in Italy in 2002, 2004, and 2005.

Symphony No. 4 is the Archangels Symphony. The first movement represents GABRIEL (God Is My Strength). He is best known for bringing important announcements to mankind. He is referred to as the voice of God. Because of this, he is symbolized by the trumpet, which represents Godâs voice. He is represented by the colors silver and white.
The second movement is RAPHAEL (Shining One Who Heals). He is charged with healing mankind and the earth. Raphael holds many titles as Angel of Love, Angel of Compassion, Guardian of the Tree of Life. He is represented by the serpent, which is a symbol of healing. He is represented by the colors orange and light blue.
The third movement is URIEL (Fire of God) who is symbolized by the scroll and an open hand holding a flame. The flame represents the meaning of his name, which is âfire of Godâ. He holds many titles including Angel of the Presence, Angel of Repentance, Angel of Thunder and Terror, Angel of Music, Light of God.
The fourth movement represents MICHAEL (Who Is As God). He is Godâs Warrior who leads the Celestial Army, and the ruler of the Seventh Heaven. In art he is depicted as muscular, youthful, handsome, and is usually suited in armor. The bible tells us that Michael and his army defeated Satan and his angels in the war in Heaven, throwing them out of Heaven and down to the earth. Michael is the Prince of Light battling against the sons of darkness. Michael is represented by the colors gold, yellow, and rose red.

Symphony No 5 is The Peace Symphony. There is an urgent need for the restoration of serenity, peace, joy, and affirmation of spirit. Each movement represents one of these qualities.

Symphony No. 6 is The Spring Symphony. With clear, classical forms, each movement reflects various aspects of springtime: awakening spirit, quiet beauty, youthful playfulness and developing joy.
