Keith Kniles, a dynamic artist from Chicago, the world famous home of Blues and Gospel music. Throughout his experience
as a performer, Keith has been blessed with the ability to perfect such instruments as the lead and bass guitars, keyboards, piano and drums. His skills have been enhanced through his composition and lyric writing abilities in addition to his melodic vocal abilities. Furthermore, he is an accomplished MIDI programmer.
As The Guitarist for Progressive Community Center for over 14 years, Keith has appeared with many noted musical legends including the Staples Singers, Albertina Walker, The Barrett Sisters, the late Thomas Whitfield, Ethyl Holloway, The Chi-Lites and Marsha Warfield. His local appearances are highlighted by performances at Christ Universal Temple, Progressive Community Center Evangelical Outreach Ministry, Grant-a-Wish Foundation, The Chicago Police Youth Corps (a nonprofit organization), of which he is a member. He has participated in the Bud Billiken Day Parade, (sponsored by Coca-Cola), performed at the Harold Washington Victory Party and the Regal Theater. He is one of the founders and present directors of the group Children of the Knight.
Through his musical Ability, Keith is determined to make a vital contribution to the rebuilding of the lives of others by performing and recording compositions with an uplifting, positive and inspirational message. His musical portfolio already includes
more than 50 original compositions and continues to grow.
Keith wants to release one or two album length
productions per year.
