Since the young age of 6, Kyle Davids has been studying, performing or recording some type of instrument. Starting out playing violin recitals in New York and progressing through different instruments including Guitar and Piano, Kyle found his most abilities in bringing out the most natural sound on drums and percussion. After studying for some time at Berklee Collage of Music in Boston Mass, Kyle came west to Los Angeles California to study with some of the best drummers in the world at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Teachers included Steve Smith, Casey Shurell, Ralph Humphrey, Efrin Toro, Joe Porcaro, Terry Bozzio and several other very notable musicians.
After graduating and later working at Musicians Institute, Kyle embarked on various adventures playing drums on cruise ships, recording in the local studios and playing around the Los Angeles area. Never one to settle, Kyle chose to study his second passion to fly helicopters and jets.

Today, Kyle resides in a small town in the north county of San Diego California where he can either be found flying helicopters for a major TV station as he has done for the last 15 years, teaching one of his many students or recording/producing music for various video projects in his music studio. His latest release: âLeftyâs Hip Pocketâ is a compilation of years of work as a studying musicianproducer inspired by his wife and children along with his high flying adventures.
