Best known for her effervescent vocals, LOLLY POP kicked off her career at the age of 8 with the purchase of an Emerson turntable. Pop then began collecting records compulsively as well as producing her own lip synch shows in honor of her radio heroes- Prince & The Revolution, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna and Falco. POP eventually graduated to making bands with her Barbies, giving them dramatic make-overs as well as names. Her greatest triumph came at 12, when she built a posh cardboard mansion for her "top selling act" Jade - a green-haired Barbie with matching make up and accessories.

In 1994-- with just $200 U.S. in her pocket-- POP landed in Minneapolis. Through the late '90's, she worked as a dancer for R&B/Funk outfits Clique and B. Thompson; appeared in the Prince & NPG video 'Gett Wild' as well as with The Lords of Acid on their 'Heaven Is Coming' tour. From 1998 - 2001 she interned at Twin/Tone Records and cut her teeth as a vocalist for various local acts. In 2002, POP created TELEPHONE!- a three piece Electro-meets-Hip Hop outfit. While appearing on the TC Electropunk Compilation series (Volume 1 [May, '04] ; Volume 2 [March, '05]), TELEPHONE! toured the United States. Towards the end of 2004, POP was discovered by two of her childhood heroes- Dr. Fink (Prince & The Revolution) and Monte Moir (The Time).

Under the expertise of Moir, POP has amassed an all-star line up who perform live as LOLLY POP & THE COUTURE CLUB. Their shows are best described as an "Electro-Pop-Operetta" and can be catagorized with their contemporaries: Goldfrapp, The Scissor Sisters and Gwen Stefani. The LOLLY POP production team is UK chart topper Ricardo Autobahn (Daz Sampson, The Cuban Boys, Spray), Mr. Moir, the good Doctor (Fink) and the truly fabulous voice-over talents of Kendrick Smetana.
