A big what's up from Maringa!!!! First, you may be asking what a Maringa is? A Maringa is actually a town in Brazil, but not us. It is really a name made by our singer Vinita while trying to call our guitarist Marissa (dont ask how that word came out...?) So yeah, thats where the name came from. Now about the band. Maringa formed in September of 2005 with a bunch of Freshman that really liked playing classic rock. Along with a bunch of friends they wrote their first song "Last Night's Song" and just kept going from there. Everyone kept bringing new songs to the table like Vinita's "Where I Wanna Be" and Marissa's "Listen To Me Once." After some thought, Dan and Meghan wrote "Never Calls" and there is the album plus the Intro. And there you have it, Maringa! Talk to us about us... we'd love to hear from you!
