Growing up in the beautiful town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Margo Valiante began singing with her father at an early age. Her passion for music developed through the years with different instruments including, guitar, piano and even oboe, however, Margo has always best expressed herself through her voice. A 2005 graduate and Music Major from Skidmore College, Margo has loved returning to her hometown to find a musically rich environment where she performs and collaborates with many talented artists.

Having opened for artists like Dar Williams, The Subdudes and Kris Delmhorst, Margo has a wide range of performance experience. She can be found headlining local concerts, singing with her band Boondocks around town and even organizing a local outdoor music festival, Music for Literacy. Her latest project has been completing a new Demo CD with original works, produced by musician Ben Winship in Victor, Idaho. She was also awarded Best Female Vocalist at an Intercollegiate A Cappella Competition in 2003 and was recognized by Jazz Saxophonist, Joshua Redman while performing with her Jazz Ensemble in 2005. Margoâs music brings together elements of many different styles and with that, adds the technical abilities of a classically trained vocalist. Her guitar work is more traditional and rootsy, while her singing also incorporates elements of blues and jazz.
