"Pure energy and a calm an passionate spirit shine through on my next selection, Mark Pires "something to live for". A new comer to the music scene. Mark writes with a relatable wisdom in each and every song. Each selection beautiful in and out. Gripping at your interest with powerful hooks and crafty meaningful lyrics. It seems all of his songs have a theme, almost a soundtrack to the artistâs life. A vast array of musical styles created by one person, truly pleasing with every note. Each song targeted my interest, right off the bat "Out of Control" (one of my personal faves) hits you right in the chest and makes you step back for minute, funky and poignant. Each song made me reflect personally, which is usually how I judge my albums. For instance, song twelve "Gabrielle" is a bit vulgar but I found myself enjoying it by the second listen. One of the most relatable songs on the album, I assume everyone has been screwed over once or twice. On that selection Mark nailed the topic head on and even added a rap for the second verse! A truly brilliant song! My opinion you will enjoy EVERY song on this album. By far the best album I've heard in a long while!!" 4 out of 4 stars
