The ultimate Zen question, What Am I? takes form in the music of Maybe Today, an alternative trip band with a revolving door of talented musicians from around the United States.
12 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Modern Rock, POP: Power Pop
Details:
What Am I ? The ultimate question of Zen takes form in this debut release by Maybe Today, based in Orlando, Florida.
The CD begins as alternative, not âalternative like everyone elseâs alternative,â but TRULY and uniquely ALTERNATIVE. Whatami then evolves and morphs into a creative collection of pop / soft rock, with some songs generated by guitars, and others based on keyboards only. This unusual combination keeps your ears alive, and the pure creativity keeps your brain pleasantly engaged.
Maybe Today showcases the songwriting skills and vocal stylings of Paul Thomas, from Orlando, and hosts a revolving door of other talented musicians from around the United States. This debut release features Tom Waters, from Nashville, on bass guitar, MacGregor Williamson, from Jackson, Miss., on keyboards, and the incredible lead guitar work of Preston Wulff, from Orlando. Beautiful back vocals are provided by Sandy Watson, of Orlando. Also sharing the spotlight is well respected drummer Greg Morrow, from Nashville, on âI Wonât Forgetâ.
So sit back, relax, turn it up, and enjoy some of the most unique music to come along in a long, long time.
