Founded by Freddie and Slick in April of 2000 with original member drummer Edgar Garcia The band began to play backyard parties doing cover songs and went through several name and lineup changes before adopting the name MAD RAMBLERS. The Mad Ramblers first unofficial gig was on October 13, 2001 in their resident city Azusa ,Ca. On July 5, 02 The Mad Ramblers had their first official gig at the SHOWCASE THEATRE in Corona opening for the L.A. psychobilly classic band CALAVERA. Since then they have been able to share the stage with some of the heavy weight bands of the Scene. The Mad Ramblers do not like to write about cheesy Shit. The lyrics are tough, true, and Mad, written by Freddie. And The music is definitely not for little bitches its straight in your face Ill fuck you up music, The type that is meant to be played for those who love to pit!!! The Mad Ramblers dont consider themselves psychobilly (for all you fucken purist) because they didnt set out to play that type of music, just with jamming out in their garage and mixing all their musical influences their music just came out that way. People Can call it what ever they want but after all is said and done, its pure ROCK N ROLL!!!!!
