Multi talented Pop/Rock Artist MAOR is a gifted, versatile singer/songwriter/keyboard player and arranger. He brings his own unique style to music, including elements of the 80's with a soul/jazz touch, and combines these with his warm and caressing voice. MAOR grew up listening to many different styles of music, which allowed him to experience and explore a new style of writing penetrating, melodic pop songs. MAOR has recorded his own songs in the UK and USA, and worked with other talented musicians and producers. Among them is Peter Lewis, who worked with Ricky Martin, Paul Vanguard, who produced many known dance artists in the UK, and Uri Cabiri, who worked with Ofra Haza and Dana International (who won the Eurovision song contest in 1998). For the last two and a half years since Maor arrived to NY there's a BUZZ happening. The snow ball just gets bigger and bigger. Maor performed in many showcases, events and clubs in NY like, The "Singer/Songwriter Sessions at the Elbow Room," The CBGB's Gallery, The Sidewalk Cafe Showcase, The Bitter End Showcase, The Knitting Factory showcase, The New York Off Stage Lunch Summer Series, 48th Songwriting showcase, The Songwriters Hall Of Fame & The National Academy of popular Music NAPM/SHOP at The Cutting Room. MAOR has also performed at The USA Songwriting Competition Series Showcase, The world's leading international songwriting competition, And also got to the finalist list at the Unisong International Song Contest 2003 Finalists with the song "Jump" which placed in the top ten percent out of over 4,500 entries from more than 50 countries.

MAOR-Debut is a collection of my favorite 9 songs that I wrote BTW the years 2001-2004 in NYC. 3 tracks produced by Alex Mitnick in his private Studio in NJ, Amazing, Jump and Caught In A Flame, Crazy/Maybe was produced/Mixed by Charley and myself also in NJ, The rest of the album (5 Songs) was recorded @ Bob Gingery home studio in Astoria (Queens) with my first Drummer Jim and guitar player Owen Omahny (THANK YOU !!!) vocals & Mix @ sky lab Studio in NYC so here we are 2005 "MAOR-Debut" Enjoy!!!
