Welcome to the second chapter in the Tribute Triad! It all starts with a loss; until you've lost someone close to you, you'll never know. TRIBUTE comes from that feeling of loss, a death in the family. How do you cope? How do you pick up the pieces and move on? A song can help! Loss comes in many forms including loss of innocence like when a whole country has to cope with a tragedy like 9/11/01. TRIBUTE is a reflection of our times and cannot ignore reality. TRIBUTE takes on the issues we all have to deal with, exposing the injustices that are everywhere. The stuff that Folk Music is made of and the foundation of this project. TRIBUTE goes a step further by bringing a belief in God into the equation. Contemporary Christian to put everything into perspective. "In God We Trust" is at the foundation of the TRIBUTE project. The first CD (TRIBUTE) also employs the power of Country Music to reach a wider audience.
SECOND COMING takes a different approach in attempting to reach the younger/hipper crowd with Rock music. New producer Scott Savage brings his controversial Political Rock to the table. From the start, this project has been a non-profit attempt to merge different formats. By taking profit and money out of the equation, the purity of the music can shine through. The beauty of a well written song can be appreciated! It all started in a songwriter's group; a workshop for writers from all formats all sharing an interest in the craft. Just their best songs have been chosen for this project, It has taken all their lifetimes to come up with these 13 songs and 2 bonus tracks. A second chance for you to hear these previously recorded songs. A Second Coming for charity to benefit us all. ENJOY!!
