I'm a person that likes a lot of things. I like my cat Cali, I like anything with real lavender in it, I like snow, I like Bill Hicks - and I like making music. Like the aforementioned things, I will liking it for the rest of my life.

This album is the first chapter of my life-in-cd-form. I anticipate many more. People are constantly learning, evolving, living. Some people take pictures or keep journals, I like to remember things in song. And through doing that, it helps me let it go as well if it happens to be something (or someone) unpleasant. Sometimes I don't even know what I'm setting out to write, I just start writing the first thing that comes to mind, and that's usually the way I'm the most honest with myself in what might be bothering me. I had eating disorders all through my pre-teen and teenhood, I've emotionally invested myself in people that turned around and slapped me in the face, I've loved and lost, I've hated my job, doubted my own significance in life...and found some sort of peace and acceptance through it all. And that is this album.

This album has no voice effects, it's just me harmonizing with myself. Sometimes 20 times over. My lovely and amazingly talented friend Alyson graced my album with her cello playing. I took care of the rest of the instruments. I've had enough positive feedback to safely say no matter who you are or your taste, I suspect you'll find something you enjoy.
