Kenzie & Kendal started as two independent musicians in a town full of different opportunities, some fulfilling and others - just a dead end. After meeting each other in an indirect way, Kendal asked Kenzie if she would be interested in writing some music together. The first night they wrote together it was an instant musical connection - "Pain's Just a Feeling" was written in a few hours and recorded that night. It was obvious to the both of them - they had found their niche singing and playing together.

Hey friends, thanks for visiting the page! We spend a lot of time writing and working on our songs because we love the music we create. It's a struggle, and it's a battle we constantly overcome. It's never good enough to just be "good enough" for us - it takes us many hours perfecting, questioning, revising, and modifying our songs. We really put a lot of focus on our lyrics because they are our stories and we want them to mean something! Most all of our songs are based on personal experiences, and we try to tap into the emotions and feelings we had in those times of happiness, sadness, loneliness, longing, or confusion. We know you can relate to our music. Everyone has a story - these are our stories!
