After years of jaming together just for fun, this family band finally got its stuff together to put together a few tracks. Dad (Jonathan Martin) had been playing with his cover band "Prescription Blues" around Adelaide, but knew that there was plenty of talent right there at home. Oldest daughter Hannah sings some beautiful backing and brings her own style of rebelion to "Be who you wanna be" with a real up beat high school rock feel. Ben who is only 13 bends it like Stevie Ray on "Be who you wanna be" and some solid licks and rhythm guitar to the other stuff. Rockin Rory (11) brings the beat for every track and sings up a soulful balad with "Are we there yet" (mum and dad will relate). Jivin Jimmy (9) hits all the right notes with the backin vocals and Dad shows his love for the electric blues by sliding, bending and scratchin that strat. Thanks to Sam Leske for producing, Brett Williams for bass and Andy Voigt for engineering at Sound Farm Studios on a hot Adelaide summer day or two.
