My self-titled debut album, also known as "The Golden Predator Album" because of the cover artwork, is a fusion of progressive rock and ambient music in the style of "chiptune" music reminiscent of video games from the 8-bit and 16-bit computer eras.

Dear listeners,

Thank you for purchasing my album. This album was recorded entirely at home with a Korg PA50 SD synthesiser, with MIDI to Wave conversions done with LMMS (with the appropriate soundfonts). I thought making music in the style of video games from the 1980s and 1990s would be a unique creative idea, and it would show that music does not have to be orchestral and explosively elaborate in order to be successful, nor does it require lyrics for it to be a success. This album marks the birth of "chiptune rock" - a fusion of progressive rock, electronic music, and music sounding reminiscent of a retro video game. My main influences range from well-known artists such as Genesis and Kraftwerk, all the way to classic video game composers such as Tim Follin and Jeroen Tel. This is my first release and I hope that you will enjoy it, whether you are a casual listener, a video game fanatic or a musician in your own right.

GUS - Gravis UltraSound (Tracks 1, 2, 4 and 6)
Yamaha OPL 3 (Tracks 3 and 5)

For tracks 7 and 8, I used GXSCC to convert the MIDI Sequence into a Wave file to give the impression of music featured in a retro video game.
