"Make it to the Moon" is Stay Sane's first full length album release, and the music stays jamming the whole way through, despite being such a young band. It starts off with an intro jam that shows their rock and funk side and then drops into a reggae groove that makes you want to move. The whole album stays grooving, whether they are playing a reggae jam or an almost Jack Johnson style of music. The rock roots definitely show with the powerful guitar licks and solos as well as the slapping bass and hard hitting drum beats, but Stay Sane is looking to be much more than the average rock band. The saxophone in the music is just as important as the rest because it adds a unique, almost marching band style of playing on top of it all. There are all kinds of songs for every kind of listener on "Make it to the Moon", and it's definitely worth listening all the way through. Check it out and tell your friends!
