A Circurrence is the sound that butterfly wings make when they leave the trees as they attempt to migrate to their new homes. It is an indescribable sound.

The album starts with a Circurrence as an attempt to capture the literally millions of butterflies leaving the trees en masse.

Islands
The album moves on to Islands where some of the butterflies stop on their way home.

Daydreams
The journey continues with Daydreams in the lonliness of flight over vast stretches of ocean, desert, forest.

Reverie
Do butterflies daydream? Perhaps they do, and if so, perhaps they remember other journeys from home to home as in this piece called Reverie.

Memoriam
And lastly, they arrive in the city. Some terrible thing has happened and their favorite haunts are no longer there. They circle above the wreckage, like angels, wondering if their journey here was in vain. Like so many of us, wondering if we are going in the right direction and is the trip worth it.

About the Ensemble' de' Luz'
It is a collection of hard and soft synths routed through a 16 track digital mixer. Most of the performances you hear are accomplished on a digital grand piano.

About the Composer: Michelle Ende' was born in Chicago and lives in Lutz, Florida outside the noise of Tampa. She is a professor of International Economics and works for the State of Florida. Her music is almost as old as she is, starting composition and studies at the age of six, she is well versed in music theory, harmony, and orchestration. Her website explains her work in both Electronic and Symphonic, as well as Instrumental.
