Muchos Backflips! The self-proclaimed "multifarious amalgamation of wind-baggery!" The challenge of a lifetime, the atari-punk hoedown, the super ska latin freakout, the best band in Dripping Springs, the band I wish I had been in before I became old and stupid..? Our influences are comprised primarily of artists that blazed their own musical path (you know who they are), and like them, we make our music not for the desire to be different, but because we ARE different. Since our first real show as Muchos Backflips! on Feb 23, 2005 at Flamingo Cantina, we have played roughly 101 shows in the general Texas area, including a Saturday spot at the infamous Antone's, Pecan Street Festival, the Heart of Texas Quadruple Bypass Music Fest, and a First Thursday showcase at Opal Divine's. Our songs have been aired on 95.9 KAOS, 90.1 KSYM, Channel 102.3 (now "The River" 102.3), and 91.7 KOOP (radio de la comunidad en Austin, Tejas).
