Mysteria started from Nikiâs (Vocals & keys) dream to get the band together. For several years before the band was true, she composed songs for the true dream project at that time still missing the right musicians. How the band should sound was all clear from the beginning in Nikiâs mind. The recipe was heavy yet sensitive and nicely artistic arranging, delicate and catchy melodies and tasty guitaring with harmonies. Finally it was time to start. In fall 2003 Niki first contacted JJ (Guitar) to find out if he would be interested in starting a new band with her. These two have been band mates since they were kids and JJ said yes. Niki and JJ started test recordings at a friend's place in Helsinki, Finland and ended up with a feeling that they should absolutely continue. To make Niki's plan true and to get things going, the next thing they needed was one more guitar and the right musician to create the harmonies planned. Thatâs when Rändi (Guitar & keys) was invited to play some guitars. When Niki heard him play there was no question about it. He was The Guy! Rändi & Niki started recordings for Mysteria at Rändi's modest home studio. It was soon clear that Rändi handled arranging and engineering the songs just perfectly for Mysteria. The band rented a place to train live. Sometimes there were drummer & bassist candidates playing in sessions, sometimes seq. played their parts. Finally in spring 2005 after a long search these 3 found their drummer Jyrie and played their first private gig. Jake, Mysteria's bassist entered the band in June 2005. The line up was finally full! Bands baby release, Out Of The Blue EP is out now and a full length album is in plans..
