Midnight Sun is a collective of performing and studio musicians from the Eugene, Oregon area. Talented, socially conscious and well trained, their music is a cohesive integration of various styles including jazz, folk, pop and electronica. Track instrumentation includes interesting combinations of voice, synthesizer, guitar, bass, doumbek, jazz percussion, tenor sax and didgeridoo.

Built around the compositions and arrangements of leader Steve Johnston, the music on this CD is our contribution to the world music scene. The CD includes performances by all group members that exemplify the deep well of musical talent residing in this small college town in western Oregon.
