Hailing from Va Beach, Navigator is one of the most ground-breaking M.C.âs in the Midwest. Navigator is making moves all over the country, recently landing a spot on Mic Magazineâs 50 unsigned hip-hop artists. As the movement behind Oklahoma Cityâs urban scene continues to grow, Navigator has taken the stage for anyone needing to give their audience a show. Navigator is gaining some prized notches under his belt with a growing roster of opening performances for Camp Lo, Mike Jones, Twista, Trick Daddy, Bun B. of UGK, and Pitbull! He was the first independent artist from Oklahoma to be nationally syndicated on XM Radio, as well as being the states freestyle champ in 2002. Together with Kelley Keyz, Ransom, and Eddie P, Navigator was once part of one of the most influential rap groups in the Midwest, The Cutthroat M.C.âs. Always looking to expand his horizons, Navigator created his own record label âLyveWire Recordâ in early 2002. Recently, Navigator released his first solo project, and took a different approach than conventional. Released in April 2006, âTha Sounds of tha Streetzâ was a compilation with some of Midwestâs underground generals and the Cutthroats. The album is currently available all over the internet at Burnlounge.com In the summer of 2006 Navigator took over OKCâs club life with his Ashy Mix tape Volume 1. For 2007 Navigator is working on his most anticipated album Nasty Nav. Due to release in April the album is expected to reach new heights for Navigator as an artist and individual.
