Hi, my name is Nicki Love. I would like to introduce myself as the Hottest and Freshest female MC to enter the Rap music game. Don't be fooled by my said to be pretty face and a smile, I 'm sure to be considered a true hip hop artist. Sharing some of life's experiences to music, With hard hitting lyrics and topoics to match my ryhme flo is sure to rock any mic. My love for music, dance and entertainment has led me to the niche in life I have chosen. To be an International female rap artist with my own image and flavor.
I was born in the Bronx New York, and raised in San Francisco since age 7, and I consider the Bay Area my home. I have always been propelled towards music and performing. My friends and family always told me to follow my dreams. As a teen I started break dancing entering and winning contest. When street dancing slowed down on the west coast I started rapping, again entering and winning rap contest. I composed my first single at age 14 entitled "Come off That Mission" a rap song meant to encourage a best friend to get off drugs. For me music, dancing, and rapping have never been a passing fad or a hobby it has always been more of a lifestyle. I have always been an avid writer and poet.
Life was not easy for me growing up. I made my share of mistakes and lived through hard times, yet I have taken these experiences good and bad to mold myself into the person I am today. Of witch I share in my rhymes to inspire others to have a dream and strive to be the best in life. I am currently a hair stylist and make up artist; I have been practicing cosmetology since 1997. I use hairstyling as an artistic outlet until I am discovered for my real talent rapping and music.
I love to perform at any open mic or venue. Because I am having so much fun I decided to pursue my dream of being an international female rap artist. There's something about the crowd, either they love you, or they hate you and so far they love me. I currently recorded my first album "The Nicki Love No Love Album" independently released thru Legal Dope Entertainment, February 1st 2005. Radio and On Line air play are in the works. I have recently started my own lable called Tripple Platinum Entertainment and I am about to release my second CD "The Life Line" in June 2006. I am serious about my music, I love what I do, and I have the drive to strive for my goals. Please enjoy my CD and feel free to contact me if you hear anything you like.
