2006 Billboard Award winner Songwriter Nikii Davis, in conjunction with US Producers Peter Boe and Dennis Carter, UK Producer, Roman Pryce, and Jamaican Producer, Stephen Stewart announce the release of her newest CD, Simple Kind of Woman. For her debut album, Nikii has assembled a stellar cast of musicians including 2005 Grammy winner, Toots Hibbert, legendary drummer, Sly Dunbar; blues guitarist, Terry Robb, percussionists, Brian Davis of Pink Martini, Jamaican renowned Bongo Herman and acoustic guitarist, Teja Bell.

Nikii is an award winning songwriter and singer, whose soulful, personal songs incorporate elements of the blues and reggae, as well as ingredients forming many other musical styles; and Simple Kind of Woman is a collection that reflects her deepest feelings and desires.

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Nikii developed her songwriting style over many miles spent traveling the world, working a wide variety of jobs and cataloging an enormous collection of life experiences, many of which find themselves woven into the emotional tapestry of Simple Kind of Woman.
