Biography NIKKISWAN
(singer, songwriter & producer)

Born in Buffalo NY, raised in Buffalo NY, Rochester NY and Cleveland OH, NIKKI started his way in music very early. When he was 10 years old he was already singing and experimenting with drums and piano with his native town church. He settled in New York City which gave NIKKI the basic forum for his future musical activities. So he worked together and came in contact with a number of well known film, theater and music business directors and producers like Jim Henson, Capital Records recording artist Mystic Merlin, Grammy award winner Betty Wright, Soul Funk artist Thelonious Monk Jr., Donnie Linton Management, Tom Silvermann & Robin Halton (CEO Tommy Boy Records), Teddy Riley, The Gibson Brothers and Jocelyn Brown.

Greatly inspired to bring his talents to Europe NIKKI based himself in Berlin, Germany for the next years where he had major releases: "Jungle Love" (R&B) with Warner Entertainment Group Records. "My Girl in HIS. Jeans" (Rap Dance) written for the H.I.S. Jeans commercial & released by Sony Dance Pool, published by EMI Music. "Deeper" (English Rap version of Peter Maffayâs "Tiefer") (Euro Rap Dance), release by BMG-Ariola Records, published by 7 Days Music.

NIKKISWAN just finished the production of his Solo CD "In Love With Life" (Lounge, R'n'B, Swing). All songs, lyrics & production by NIKKISWAN for "YIHA PRODUCTION records", 2006/2007. NIKKI plays several instruments (like drums, keyboards, synthesizer, percussion instruments, e-bass and lead & rhythm guitars).
