Nelson's career began at an early age in Chicago, IL. The drums were the first instrument that he learned to play and love. With his soon discovered passion for music, he began to perform with a local Chicago church and through time, he began creating a name for himself.

In 1991, he performed in a national convention in which he played drums with great musicians and artists from different parts of North America including David Quinones, Rene Gonzales, and many others. A few years later, Nelson began to have interest in piano and electronic music and soon developed his newfound talent.

Over the years, Nelson has composed many compositions. Now for the first time, he releases his first album "Moment in Time". âMoment in Timeâ is a music project conceived and brought to life resulting in an ingeniously crafted fusion of sounds making each piece unique in style. He spent the past three years creating this album and learned a varied mixture of instruments that seek to capture each emotion portrayed.
