o.w.e. is climbimg up the music industry ladder as we speak. this artist has come along way to get to where he is today. let me take you back to how it all began. o.w.e. was born in a small town called weldon nc where is lived with his mother. his father was in and out of the home doing his own thing. but things started to go wrong when his mother found out she had cancer. as time went on she got so sick that she could not hold on any more and lost the battle. she passed on to go on the heavens up above. so that left o.w.e. aka rodricus owens and his sister to go live with foster parents. they treated o.w.e. and his little sister like they really did not belong. so o.w.e.'s father decided it was time to get himself together and come get his children. so from that point on o.w.e. went with his father as he was in and out of work and in and out of realationships with women. but they struggled to stay above water barely making ends meet and most of the time going without food. but that did not stop o.w.e.'s drive to get up be someone. those hard times really made o.w.e. who he is today. the strong motivated person who has a drive to suceed like none other you may meet. o.w.e started his first label back in 2001 named black diamond records but things went sour. so o.w.e. came right back and created streetlife records and once again he failed. but as you may guess he did not stop until he created his label to date named 48street entertainment which is named after the street he lived on growing up as a child. along his way growing up he ran into a friend and also co-owner of 48street entertainment siex. siex is a very talented emcee as well as a close friend and business partner of o.w.e. o.w.e. has done shows around nc in places like burlinton,charlotte, fayetteville and asheville. owe has worked with other labels like south49 records. south49 is releasing a compilation album in jan which will feature o.w.e. o.w.e. has been down to sc to record for a tv show named videohype tv. coming in jan o.w.e. will be featured in a new magazine called urban magazine which will feature hip hop artist as well as models. if you ever in greensboro and watch the local station there is a show that comes on called the pavement show and yes o.w.e. has been on that show also. to sum it all up this is one record label and artist that you better be one the look out for. 48street entertainment will reach the top! coming in jan o.w.e. will be releasing his second album called "constantly pumping" so be on the look out. and also check out his first album called the chronicles of o.w.e. at all major retailers
