"Letting Go", the new album by Alex Cole, opens with "Thank You"; a powerful and touching song that encompasses the following eleven tracks. It also features the title track "Letting Go" a heart breaking sequel to "Girl From World of Beauty" in 2004. The CD includes many other great songs like "Back Above", "The Helpless Me", and "It's Time".
"Letting Go" was recorded in Melbourne, FL. at Shady Lane Studios with a Boss BR 1600 recorder. With the help of his dad, Aaron Cole, they do the best they can to sound like the pro's.
Alex says the album was inspired by the most treasured moments of his life. He also says his favorite place to write music is on the back porch of his families summer camp in Upstate New York (captured in the "Letting Go" music video). "Everything is so much more peaceful there and I can really open up my mind", Alex says.
