It was March 2006 when â6 Pezzi + 1 Remixâ, Alessio
Beltramiâs indipendent debut Ep, it was released in Italy.
After positive feedbacks from musical press and radio
stations Alessio decided to collaborate with 6 different
producers and musicians for the special â6+1 Remix
Editionâ. The artists involved in this project came from
different musical backgrounds, everyone had the chance to
rebuild the record giving a new mood to each track: Bassi
Maestro, Hip Hop producer and artist, remixed the first
track âEntroâ; the eclectic STIV put his hands on âSei
Difficileâ and the "Music In Head" team feed with soul
backbeat and piano the 3rd track âTu, Lui, Io,
GliAltriâ; An electronic/dub version of âDammi Sogniâ
was made by Stokka and Gaba while the Brigante Connection
(Paolo Frattini, Marco Mengoni e Fabio Caso) take care of
the funk theme of âButtaâ. Last track was reinvented
from BrokenBeats duo Crookers that literally
set on fire âPrestamiâ that originally was a ballad.
