2007 will bring Amaryllis success as she continues to promote and market her CD. Amaryllis sings many cover tunes from her catalogue as well as incorporates her original music when she performs, and because of this versatility, she is able to reach her audiences as a professional music artist.
Her love of community and music is also evident as she donates a portion of her CD sales to nonprofit agencies in the Harrisburg area to benefit clients.
Amaryllis worked for the Aids Community Alliance of South Central PA for two years as a Bi-Lingual Case Manager in the Lancaster County area. She worked with many local hospitals and agencies to provide the appropriate linkages to ensure a continuum of services for her clients. She was deeply affected by many of the different changes that her clients went through and the stigmas that they experienced because of HIV/Aids.
While working towards her musical career, she also enrolled at Regis University to attain her degree in Master of Non Profit Management and will be finished with her degree in early 2008.
On December 8, 2006, Smooth Jazz 92.7 hosted her CD Release party at The St. Moritz SupperClub.
On December 7, 2006, she was interviewed live on Smooth Jazz 92.7FM with Paul Scott, Program Director. Her song VFW, recieved airplay.
On October 4, 2006, she was interviewed live on 1400 The Touch Radio Station with Shaashawn Dial, Program Director. During her interview, VFW, Simply Me, and Love It Ain't received airplay.
On October 24, 2006, Amaryllis Santiago volunteered her time and talent to The St. Moritz Supper Club and will appear in a television commercial on channel, ABC 27 to help promote the restaurant.
On October 25, 2006, Amaryllis was featured at The St. Moritz Supper Club with Jazz Pianist, Danny Stuber. They both performed for the Senator Bob Casey Election Fundraiser.
