Meet Amber Danté!! Straight out of the San Francisco-Bay Area, she is a rising star and an edgy indie artist destined for the mainstream. Miss Danté is a triple threat: a songwriter with an original sound, and sultry vocals to match her culturally diverse dance movements.

She creatively infuses more than four musical genres including, Urban Soul, House, Hip Hop and top 40's Pop, all with a subtle World music undertone. Thus, it is difficult to pin her down to a single genre. She has an unparalleled stage presence that captivates her audience and an uncanny ability to rally women and beckon men into her world.

Amber Danté is igniting the West Coast Circuit this year and gracing stages throughout California. Her 8-song EP has just been released. It features F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S, a smooth, groovy, R&B tale that any person who has ever been heart-broken can relate to. Most of currently available EP was produced by three very talented California Producers, including, Keith Brown of Reign Productions, and the Bay Area's own Rashaad Wiggins of Schad Productions, and C.H. of 880 Style, who produced her edgy female anthem with a Southern/Hip Hop feel, DIGGAZ. More importantly, she is diligently working on her debut album, set for release in 2007.

Amber Danté is an artist on the rise by her own ingenuity, masterminding her own project and seeking funding to operate her record label, SHERAW Records. SHERAW is an acronym for "Sistahs Headlining Entertainment and Raising Access for Women."

Amber grew up in Hayward, California. She was raised in Palma Ceia Baptist Church, where her singing career began and was cultivated in the Sunshine Choir. Amber graduated from UCLA, and studied in France and Ghana where she was crowned Ms. Akwaaba, and aquired a taste for various styles of world music, such as High-Life, Zouk, Garage/House and N'Dombolo. She is now working as a Performing Arts teacher, and coaching a step team of eighteen, 12-13 year-old-girls in the Bayview's Hunters Point District of San Francisco. Their motto is: " We keep our mind on them books and off them boys."

Whether it's through her community outreach initiatives, or motivational songs, she is helping young people actualize their potential, helping young girls realize their beauty and strength, and breaking cultural barriers with a unique sound that people from all walks of life can feel.

Her musical influences include: Selena, Celia Cruz, The Clark Sisters, Bob Marley, Xscape, Brandy, Craig David, Phyllis Hyman, Toni Braxton, Mint Condition, The Isley Brothers, Shirley Murdock, Whitney Houston, Kim Burrell, Lailah Hathaway, and many more. A songwriter at heart since the age of 16, this world traveling, UCLA graduate, youth activist, has plenty to write about.
