Bodhisattva is a fresh burst of original music energy on the North East scene. Founded upon a decade of songs written by Rob Wcislo, this new powerhouse delivers a modern rock experience that dabbles in jazz, punk and funk as well as a poetic spirit reminiscent of Jim Morrison, Bono or Sting.

The Bodhisattva rhythm section, composed of Steve Kraus on bass, Chris Gibbs on drums and Frank Kraus on guitar, intertwine eclectic rhythms and textures with Wcislo's engaging melodies and lyrics to create a spiritual event that gets audiences moving and singing along.

Bodhisattva recently won the BeLeVe Fest Fan's Choice contest, held by several Pennsylvania radio stations, and consequently had their Musikfest performance broadcast live on WMUH and RCN cable television.

Bodhisattva also won grand prize in a regional Grammy contest hosted by the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Recording Academy of Arts and Sciences. This award included a prime showcase slot at the 2004 Millenium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA on June 25th @ the Gingerbread Man Downtown (10PM).

Bodhisattva is now in the studio recording its 3rd album and expecting the release later this summer.
