Singer/songwriter, Steve Bardwil's debut album CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF features 10 of his original songs. The instantly jammin catchy title track starts the fun-filled musical journey through not only different styles of music, but different emotions as well; and even makes a few stops along the way at some very exotic places.

Steve's diverse musical influences range from traditional bands and artists such as The Beatles, The Eagles, Bob Marley, James Taylor and Jimmy Bufffet to newer artists such as The Old 97's and Ryan Adams.

Producer, Marc Joseph who hails from New Orleans, has come up with a spicy blend of music styles and sounds evidenced in the rock'n blues tune JUST BECAUSE, the reggae influenced sounds of BOMBA SHACK, the jungle beat of the humorous CANNIBAL CAFE, the very french flavor of SOUTH OF FRANCE, and the alternative country sound of IT'S NOT TOO LATE.

Although the songs on this album are rooted with a gripping acoustic groove, they are layered with driving drum beats, soaring electric guitars and unique and different instrumentation, emotion and style making for an eclectic collection of songs that everyone can relate to and cannot help but have fun with.
