Ben Lakin is a singer/songwriter from Oak Ridge, TN. It is fitting that Benâs first CD project be a Christmas Album. With influences ranging from John Mayer to Chicago, Dave Matthews to Ben Folds, and Norah Jones to Bing Crosby, this album has a varied sound that highlights several different Christmas music styles.

Ben was thrilled to have a few friends and family members join him on this album. His brother, Dane Lakin, played all the drums on this album and sang background vocals on âborn in a mangerâ. His mom, Marie Lakin, sang on that track as well.

Mike Bennett, a good friend of Benâs who studied jazz saxophone at East Carolina University, joined Ben on this project to add to the already jazzy Christmas sound.

Clark Walker, a highly talented bassist, played fretless bass for Ben on this album as well as toured with him this past Christmas season around the greater Knoxville, TN area.

If you like Christmas music, youâll love this new flavor of some old favorites and appreciate Benâs personal additions to those classics with a few of his own originals. This is definitely a seasonal treat.
