Beautiful Wreckage is a new band out of New York City -- combining the musical talents of Joe Lutton (guitar and lead vocals), Matt Zebroski (drums), Toby Evers (bass), and Simon Gibson (guitar and harmony vocals). Their debut album (releasing in March 2007) is self named, entitled, "Beautiful Wreckage."
All of the band members have played all over the world in numerous groups and musical projects -- touring or working with such artists and bands as: Pete Townshend (The Who), Alex Skolnick (Testament), and Buddahead.
Their contemporary rock style has elements of classic rock, funk rock, alternative rock and blues -- all lyric driven, with powerful vocals and an introspective sensibility. Their songs have a unique appeal, in that their strong grooves and melodies carry a stadium-rock "punch" but, also draw listeners in with contemplative, soulful and intimate lyrics.
